omg i love this fic! i really adored the beginning with lucius and snape's relationship and i cried buckets when they sortof broke up and lucius changed so drastically. then i cried even more when draco and snape started getting together and then lucius dies without ever really repairing his realtionship with snape. that was the saddest thing i think because it was so lovely to see them in the beginning. *cries* the end is nice but it was kinda bittersweet for me cause i really wished lucius and snape got back together,

One SHOULD be proud of oneself about creating a piece like this, when even a reader here is proud of oneself about finding this work!
Every part was so beautifully pictured with heart-wrenching adorableness or sadness accompanying burst of tear. What a magnificient fic. It was a tremendous joy to watch Severus loved by all important characters, namely Malfoys. XD And it was quite satisfying to see Dumbledore die, to be truthfull to myself, even though I didn't think he deserved any piece of peace at the end. Lovely Lucious was refreshing, and Draco was just so adorable. May our beloved lovers live long in your work.

this has been such an enjoyable read, i can't even begin to thank you enough for having written something so wonderful. severus's character development is fictional perfection, and draco is just...delicious.
the darker parts of this story managed to make me shiver with disgust, which should be taken as a compliment, as it usually takes a lot to freak me out.
all in all, definitely one of the top five fanfictions i've ever read, whether in this ship or others. thank you once more, and take care.

This story contained a quite number of what I like the best, like DM/SS, Veela, different point of view so black is no longer black but rather light gray, nice smut, heartbreak, etc. And all of this in a rather well written form :)

I honestly cannot believe that I am only the second person reviewing this fic. I can't believe this, because I am of the opinion and have been since I first read this as posts on a message board when it was being written that this is hands down the best fan fic ever written. I do not say this lightly. The complexity of characters, the depth of the story, and the fantastic writing make me read this over and over. I wish I could find people even as close to as talented as you are. I wish to god you would write more HP some day.

I like this first chapter a lot.
I've never read anything like this before. It's very well written and I simply adore Severus' characterisation. He's so knowledgable but at the same time so naive.
I can't wait to start reading the next chapter.
